OK, that's an excellent action and indeed, one that's quite beneficial
under the circumstances. Good enough to give a +10 bonus.
The mist itself is quite strong (18), especially for people who are taking
no action at all (default ability 6). You have 8W versus 18, a roll of 11
versus a roll of 19. That's a sufficient success for you, meaning that
you're only suffering a minor reaction to the mist (-1 to abilities).

A monotone voice emits from the dessicated visage. "Who are you talking
about fool?"
> Screaming with rage, Rikku focuses his mind to try to freeze his hated
> brother in place (Rune Sight: Spirit 16).
Ability 16. Roll 13 (success), versus roll 14 (success, bumped to critical).
Rikku cannot see the spirit of the Wizard. His runes are hidden from view.
> Unsure of success but unbothered, Rikku keeps running, unleashes his
> Sickle
> and tries to ignite the blade with flame (Fire Sight 2W).
Roll 15 (failure, bumped to success) versus Roll 15 (resistance 14), failure.
The flame sputters then ignites.

And I might hold it there, given the response of the corpse-like wizard...
You can, of course, follow through as you suggested..
> [OOC: Unsure if Rune Sight:Spirit would affect undead but worth a shot]
Even the weakest undead always have at least a little bit of Spirit to
animate them.
> [OOC2: Are we still only using 1 augment per session?]
No, it's 1 augment of a like group per action. For example, in an action
you can be strong or fast but not both simultaneously...
