Scene 124: The General's Demands

"Well, Now we are all gathered", the General began, gazing into the
distance as he twirled his mustache, "we can fulfill the agreement that
your king and I have come to."

"In my magnaminous, which will of course be recorded in the histories, I
have decided not to have you all killed". The General pauses, looking past
the characters and then focusing at the Mostal on the ground. "Not have
you all killed ... unfortunate accidents", he mumbles. He then straightens
up, "I have decided not to have you all killed!". He looks directly at
Azhur, his eyes blinking.

"Fate and Illusion have brought you, travellers from another plane, to
this place. Fate and Illusion!"

"With agreement with your King, you shall travel to the Tower of the
Magician, the evil wizard who tears souls from bodies. There, with the
magics you know, you will be able to change the stakes of this game, this
terrible stalemate, and bring the Maker to the righteous throne of
Puppetland!"

The iron soldiers stamp their feet and applaud in unison, the sound
echoing across the balcony and throughout the stairwell.
