>From Uncle Pyotr's metaphoric recommendation, General Ho Ki announced
that he would be using the Yao Fune monk as a sacrifice to capture the
ruler of Tabor and leader of the Lei Kung cult, Lei Hung.

"I hear to capture a King that is in his castle, you ought to sacrifice
a Bishop", said Uncle Pyotr and, as far as Yao Fune was concerned, the
closest thing to a bishop in his presence was Uncle Pyotr himself!

The old monk offered absolutely no resistance when General Ho Ki
demanded that he travel with his "people's army" and liberate the city.
For their part Aalmon and The Fourth realised that at least in this
direction they would be getting closer to their destination and that
there would be food and drink on the way.

The journey was short, but a few days ride. However the ever-paranoid,
and tactically sensible, Ho Ki, decided only to travel at night, despite
the extra time and care this would take, especially travelling over
badlands. A number of campsites on the journey were noted, but Ho-Ki
decided that discretion was preferable despite the apparently easy
pickings.

As dawn approached on the fourth day, Lei Tabor was sighted; a large
walled city, more like an enormous keep in the middle of the desert than
a proper city. In the distance the famous mountain gap between the Hsa
Shan mountains and the Hachau Shan mountains could be seen. In this gap
were the notorious Iron Forts.

At this point, General Ho Ki turned to Aalmon, The Fourth and Uncle
Pyotr. "Well", he said. "I had hoped to have gained some fresh ideas
during the journey. As it is, I am fresh out of them. So if you have any
ideas on how we can sneak into that city successfully and find a way to
take out their great dynastic ruler and cult leader, I would be very
welcome to hear them".
