"Nay, it is we who shall pass you...", cackles the insane ghastly
apparition as it rushes towards Azhur.

The powerful ghosts surround the rump Fellowship slicing the air with
their ghostly dao.

The insane ghost strikes Azhur, for he has been a bedrock of stability in
the Fellowship.

The angry ghost strikes Jareena, for she has the peaceful healer.

The tortured ghost strikes the Seeker, for it has been the most aloof.

Cutting into their souls, these three members of the Fellowship suffer
gravely as their Power is diminished by the negative emotions. Azhur [1]
feels awash with sweet madness, Jareena, the beserker's rage and the
Seeker feels the Power of doubt and agonising torment.

Helplessly - and searching their mind for appropriate spells - the others
look on at the suffering of their companions.

[1] Primary ability Disciplined 17, augmented by Endured Atrocities +3 =
20, roll 2 (success), versus Madness Spirit W5, roll 13 fail, bumped to
success, marginal victory to Azhur. You can escape if you want to!

[2] Primary ability Prevent Dying 17, roll 19 (failure!), versus Angry
Spirit W5, roll 4, success bumped to critical, major defeat for Jareena!
Unless Hero Points are spent, she goes Beserk against her fellow party
members.

[3] Primary ability Dragonnewt Philosophy 20 (roll 18), versus Tortured
Spirit W5 (roll 17), marginal defeat; the spirit has you in its thrall.

Rikku goes on the offensive, "Come at me ghostly weaklings. I bet you can't
even hurt us!"

Rikku readies his shield just in case, however.

[OOC: I totally reckon this is a Scooby Doo situation. We will pull off
