Aalmon looked down and unceremoniously pushed aside the wounded men from the pile, revealing a trollkin whose only sign of life as a nasty wheezing bubbling sound from his chest.
"You had better talk less and heal more, he will not wait for you."
He took a step back to let the shaman do her work, ripping a sleeve from a dismembered arm he began to clean the blade of his sword, watching carefully what she did. He thought to himself that he had not heard such a self-pitying self serving speech since he had separated from Azhur. The teeth had left him with a wound in his leg that hurt badly, he did not want to show weakness by looking to see just how bad it was but he suspected that it would be wiser to play along with the ludicrous charade than trust his leg for another fight.
"I will decide where to go next when you have healed my trollkin, in the meantime you will tell me everything you know of what goes on between the pentans and the empire and what part you have played in it - whether at the behest of that little chaos demon or otherwise."
