During the night, Azhur wrote an anonymous letter to Guillaume Faust, using the brithini alphabet in a quite sophisticated way for who wouldn't be an educated scholar of western lands. He hoped that the sorceror would be able to support his plans and to bring him an asset useful for releasing all the prisonners out of Lord Lei Tse's grip.
" To whom seek peace and freedom,
Lord Lei Tse's advisors plan to take the Iron Fort tomorrow. Their plan is crude but pragmatic and with some improvements could work. Of course, we, the guests, will take all the risks and our hosts all the rewards...
Knowing that a superior mission is guiding us, what would the most possible honorable way?
We could take the Iron Fort for Lord Lei Tse, but considering the brutal and treacherous ways of his administration, I have strong doubts on the reality of our paiement when the hard labor will be done.
We can also take the Iron fort for ourselves and negociate with any other faction being able to help us to acheive our greater goal : either the Kralori army, but I don't know if they will have a reaction against the rebellious faction of the exiles, or the citizens of Lei Tabor themselves, but I don't know if they are able to be organized.
I'm thinking directly about the citizens of Lei Tabor, because to my eyes, Lord Lei Tse has a poor consideration for his Talar's duties. He only cares about being back in Kralora without having any interest, after his departure, for the future of the place that nourrished his family for generations.
I wonder if the sect of Yao Fune would be able to build up a city council and if giving the Iron Fort to their leaders will put them in a position to negociate a better future or even to get rid more or less peacefully of the selfish tyranny of the kralori.
I have clear priorities: I must preserve the lives and freedom of my companions and compatriots and I must build a positive contact with the Sect of Yao Fune. All the rest is only a mean to achieve these targets. Anyway it seems that tomorrow, we will do our best to take the Iron Fort."
Then he gave the letter to Rotterex, telling him: "If the Iron Fort is taken tomorrow, I will give it to whoever will be in the best position to help the Talor's Fellowship. This is an invitation for the auction..."

That is indeed the correct assumption. Obviously the list doesn't have a
heading or anything, just in case it fell into the wrong hands etc.

That is indeed the case. You can assume that they are following at a
safe distance however.

Of course, depending on the length of the letter there is plenty of
time.
