Azhur adressed to the Dragonewt with an apparent respect
- "Perhaps it is now time to explain to the commanding officer of this place, that an exiled potentat is plotting in Lei Tabor against the Kralorelan Empire and that a rebel army is marching against the Iron Fort. We are chosen allies sent by your draconic wisdom. Under your command we have built up a plan to help the commanding officer of the Iron Fort to destroy this menace... He will be able to easely check that we are speaking the truth just by sending a scout on the road to Lei Tabor... If he accepts to study our proposal, he will see that the Iron Fort will never be at risk and that he may earn a great prestige by stopping Lei Tse's plans without engaging any great imperial resources, this just by playing barbarians against barbarians... So is your blessing of this Iron Fort."
The westerner wondered for a while on the dragonewt' ability to understand human mentality, but finally continued:
- "Tell the commanding officer that we are barbarian slaves you bring to him to keep his hands clean from the fall of the dishonorable Lei Tse. All he will have to do, will be to keep out of sight and be prepared to capture the enemy officers we will bring to him..."
Azhur then counted on his fingers:
- "This is a typical plan raised directly from the fields of logic:
1. We tell to the invading army that we have charmed the commanding officer of the Iron Fort by a magical spell made by the combined forces of sorcery with Master Guillaume Faust and shamanic practices with Karala Walks-With-The Great-White-Wolf. The proof to convince them will be the fact that the soldiers and sentinels are apparently obeying us and let us go in and out of the Iron Fort as we like...
2. We tell the invading officers that we need them inside the Iron Fort to take charge of the command and to give orders to the charmed kralori officer, because we, as barbarians, are unable to rule the place correctly without raising suspicion, first among the garrison and then with the Kralori Empire...
3. The invading officers go inside the Iron Fort without a big escort to avoid spreading alert among the local garrison. They just pretend being invited by order from the Commanding Officer of the Iron Fort.
4. The kralori soldiers within the Iron Fort trap and arrest secretly the invading exiled officers.
5. We negociate with the invading troop for its surrender, this to avoid a fight with the brigands we bring with us and who stayed outside on the barbarian border. My hope is to turn this troop against lord Lei Tse with the promise of a better treatment, a promise which is anyway much better to take than to die for a lost cause without their own officers... if they accept, we would perhaps add them to our revolutionary army... and march on Lei Tse's palace."
- "Finally all the barbarians will leave the place and return to Lei Tabor to put down the local tyran. The commanding officer will keep his prisonners and deal his part of fame as he wishes with his own hierarchy. Normally the day would have been a gift from his pagan gods for him... if he is able to accept quickly the situation as it is.... Do you feel confortable with all this, Serendipitous Seeker?"

And is it clear for the readers ? :-S

Fish are good, but there is however an internal urge within you to
return to your nest and undergo the next transformation to a higher
stage, yes?
