(OOC: OK, Obey Superior is at -5, because you are *at least* an equal in
your own eyes, plus the augments of +4 and +3 (remember +1/5) so 12 + 7
= 19. Standard resistance 14 plus augment "Distrust Foreigners" of +3 =
17. Roll 7 vs Roll 16; that's a marginal success).

There is a stunned silence for a period, interrupted only by a single
cough among the assembled troops. And then the general and the emperor
start to laugh, first as a slight chuckle, then into a belly-holding
uproar as the entire assembled throng joined in with the
regally-approved jocular.
