Yeah. It is no coincidence that 'game theory' is applicable to...a
game. It isn't really a parallel. It is an application of a body of
mathematical theory to economics; theory which was subsequently
applied to biology (by an engineer), to the other social sciences, to
computing...

HP and money are both currencies. In biology, you have currencies such
as energy expenditure.
The marginal value theorem applies all round to choose the best
strategy. Then you add interactors in games and choose the best
strategy in the face of others' strategies.
