Aalmon is surprised as the 'face' on the roof starts talking; it causes
the vault to creak and rumble and dust falls from above. For a moment,
Icthya considers leaving in a panic, as it is not entirely natural for
the children of growth and sun to be in such a place. But the others
remain still, and so she remains.
Glancing down to Mrs. Flint, Icthya notices that her lips are moving in
sync with those of the cavernous face. Nudging Aalmon, she makes the
courier aware of this fact.
The cavern continues to speak. "Your Quest is just, white moon spirit. I
tell you that the sword you speak was carried by Nachtkling, a Blue
Troll, who joined Talor in his quest against Chaos. I tell you that a
troll upon the Blue Plateau carries this blade and you must journey
there if you wish to recover it and bring peace to the world. Beware! It
is a weapon of war, and none can stand against against this sword. It
may even corrupt you, turning you to a love of violence and war."
