Seing that the barbarians can communicate with Kalen, Azhur suggested a message :
- "Kalen, could you tell them that looting us will certainly have its cost in blood because we are determined enough to defend ourselves. This cost might also be even too high for them to pay, because we are also strong with foreign magic. While they can avoid this cost, if they help us...."
Azhur looked as firmly as he could to the camel-rider leader and his strange old adviser:
- "If they accept our peace offer, they will be paid now to guide us and if we succeed our mission in the limited time we have, they will receive more rewards from our tribes. If they attack us, there will be a fight and even if they win, they will lose these rewards anyway. Dead warriors don't enjoy loot, but wise men enjoy honor, friendship and gifts."

The Gods fall over with the description of an Elf - an Elf! - being
stranger than barbarian Camel Riders to a Mostal.
(I think Kalen misses you Icthya...)
There is a stand-off moment.. The Camel-Riders - with three-score of their
number - certainly have the numbers but it seems they are at least
somewhat familiar with the tenacious fighting of the Dwarven people and
their strange weapons.
> "Wonder if those camels are chewable" says Rotterex
... not to mention the teeth of a rubble-runner.
The straggly old camel-rider rubs his fingers over the necklace of bones
and begins to talk in the language of the Mostal! Kalen is certainly
surprised, because this is a secret language, only know the Dwarven
people.
"Give me your gold, and we'll leave you alone. You are few and we are many."
