[HQ Ignorance] Hero Points (and about time too!)

Lev,

One of the things I want to do with HP is back-fill the part of Aalmon's 
history where he learned Minderkind School sorcery. I have a slightly 
non-standard view of sorcery, so I thought I'd better clear some of my 
funkier ideas with you before I go ahead. My own vision of sorcery is 
much a more colourful one in which grimoires and talismans are not just 
mundane items but have a distinct magic of their own. Grimoires in 
particular are so magical there are distinct magical side-effects and 
they tend to develop a personality of their own. Game mechanically I 
would want to make grimoires a sort of personal guardian or embodied 
essence, the wizard has a personal relationship with each Grimoire and 
can call on its magic accordingly in addition to the routine bit of 
reading the words on the pages to cast spells. Talismans would be 
semi-magical named items with their own minor helpful abilities.

Its not quite rules-standard so I though I should check you are happy 
with it before I start spending HP on embodied essence Grimoires and 
uniquely magical talismans.
