Dorassa and Kalen both wound the bat. These are not deep wounds; indeed
they are quite superficial and from what you know of its magics it will
soon regenerate the damage caused. But it does serve as a distraction -
as it tries to home in in the cause of its sudden and surprising pain

Perception roll 6, Resistance roll 17

Emitting a maddening scream which causes many to break or at least put
their hands over their ears, the Crimson Bat spies Kalen and starts move
with a slow but purposeful flap of its wings towards the Mostal as he
loads up another crossbow bolt. Seeing this turn, the lines of the
Orlanthi break and scatter.

Is Karala is still attempting to organise a four-legged retreat of the
Telmori?

Meanwhile Rotterex is taken into the skies by the Wind Children. They
keep their distance and attack the Bat from multiple directions; they
are largely ignored by the now highly-powered Lunar magicians who are
concentrating their attacks on the Telmori. Lashing out with its tongues
and squirting chaotic blood from its eyes, the Bat targets individuals
on the ground,

Wind Child with Rotterex Stealth 13  
Crimon Bat perception roll 12, ability 10W (but -30 for quantity of
attacks, -2 for wounds)

(Nota bene: The quantity of attacks affects the Bat's perception, but
not the damage received. Makes sense?)

With a marginal success for the Wind Child, Rotterex is dropped on the
Bat's body landing in the thick fur. The Rubble Runner, as he landed,
saw the numerous priests and initiates on the Bat's back...
