OK, that's a roll of 7 (which I think is a critical for Jareena's
magical healing) versus 14 (which is a success for the thawing - overall
a good result and Jareena's healing helps alleviate the damage that the
dragonewt has suffered).
Whilst Jareena is engaging in these magics, something remarkable
happens. Rays of light strike the ice-cube which house the body the
Kallyr Starbrow. The block of ice sizzles and cracks, and then there is
a great gust of wind that shatters the block into a million and more
pieces. A bright light appears on Kallyr's brow which twinkles as blood
rushes to her cheeks and at last she breathes.
As amazing as this is, another burst of light strikes the ground next to
Kallyr as another gust of wind blows over the field. A young girl, no
more than ten or eleven appears where the light once shone. Where she
stands, bright young flowers burst from the ground. Her hair is full of
stars and she sings with a gentle voice that fills the entire field.
Orlanthi and Yelmalio stand transfixed as the appearance of the Spring
Goddess Voria and she asks each and every person on the field what they
did this day...
