- "Rikku, could we consider making a normal fire around the ice to melt it ? asked Azhur. Probably our favorite Dragonewt will appreciate some heat anyway..."

He turned to his loyal squire.
- "Othor, check if you can find any combustible around. Not only wood but perhaps oil for lamps from the package of the lunar soldiers or similar stuff."

[OOC : Othor's "make life comfortable" is 18]

- "Rikku, do you think we can at least reduce the ice by brutal force? My blade is strong, I wonder what will happen if I try to break some parts of this block..."

Azhur also checked mentally his own magical possibilities. There was this strange peasan spell from his teenage years which he used to call "Com'on baby lit my fire"... It had sometime effects, sometime on fire, sometime on sexual desire, perhaps both but he never had the case... After thinking, using it to help melting the ice around a woman seemed technically appropriate but fully immoral. The western nobleman discarded the solution thinking about the possible complications for loving husbands like him.

Rikku's RuneSight (roll 8) indicates a supernatural strength to the ice
block. "It is pure Ice Element, from Valind himself", he mutters. From a
nearby fire he brings the Fire runes over to the block which sizzles and
burns (roll 12).

"Something else is needed... The fire runes from the heat and light of
Yelm are helping, but it is not enough."
