To be honest I don't have a clue for this one.
My PC sheet has no clear option (not speaking of the amplitude of the skills needed, at best at 1 mastery against several for the crimson bat...)
Heroquesting without time, ritual background and community support is useless
Our allies are windless... that's killing all orlanthi magic option.
Malkioni miracle is out of our reach
and we are lacking heroic tricks like an Harrek the Berseck in our pocket or...
hummmm... may the Sunstorm artefact be of any use ? or is it also out of order with a dead Orlanth ?

I fear that vanishing in the woods and leaving the heavy yelmalion hoplites in the plain as an apetizer should be the best option.
not very successful for the Orlanthi, but are we orlanthi ? (yes partly, sh..!)
Could we trick the bat ? Leading it to eat the lunars instead of us ? after all we are not trapped or under siege...

Since OOC metagaming suggestions are allowed, here is mine...

If flying up is difficult, bring the thing down. Two ways to do this
are (1) bait of some description and (2) Ernaldan grounding magic.

Other options which don't rely on wind are to create mists/clouds and
run up the things and to do some Vinga-style
running/jumping/spearchucking

Final option is Wiley Coyote and his Big Rubber Band
