so the Telmori, in savage wolf form oblivious (& immune?) to the glowspot's
effects, carry on their assault of the Lunar forces, forcing them to defend
themselves while the Sartarite forces retreat from the field of battle and
the oncoming bat. (?)

Karala will try to rally the wolf men into following her into a rapid, four
legged retreat at the last moment (maybe the axe might have some power over
the Changed Telmori?).

that should, as Nick suggested, leave the battered and heavily encumbered
Lunar forces as a frenzied Bat snack..

Well that's the plan....

> Scene 82: The Battle for Iceland (Part Five): It Has Come
>
> Led by Karala, her White Wolf, and her Telmori allies, the forces of
> King Bryoan charged into fray of Tarshites and Lunars led by the
> laughing Kings. The Sun Dome Templars remained far on the eastern flank.
> The spear and sword assault wings of Dernu, Gernu and Eladanditi, led
> the assault as the central force of Bryoan and Orlastor provided an
> aegis shield wall against the superior arms and armour of the Lunars.
>
> Behind them Gyffur's forces and the Wind Children were able to skirmish
> any enemy stragglers who broke from the group, but most importantly they
> provided a constant threat against the Sun Dome Templars who, witnessing
> the range and capacity formed a file from their previous square
> formation. Kalen's weaponary proved particularly useful here, with range
> and penetration and even little Rotterex helped out, carrying missiles
> to the best of his ability.
>
> The battle raged long and hard; the Telmori and the Sartarites had the
> advantage of initial momentum; the Lunars had the advantage of arms and
> armour, and neither had much magic to speak of, so it was done to fire
> and sword. At first the battle favoured Bryoan's forces; then the
> Lunar's steadied and began to get the upper hand. Suddenly a cry in
> unison went out from the Sun Dome mercenaries and they turned and left
> the field, in a orderly but rapid fashion to the south-east. Now, with a
> numerical advantage, the forces of King Bryoan pressed on. There would
> be many who would fall, but if casulties were one to one, then victory
> was almost certain.
>
> Until, a perceptible red glow struck the battlefield. A Lunar cast some
> magics. A Telmori transformed.
>
> It was here.
