Nice bit of Gloranthan myth there Mark..
For some more Gloranthan novices, Harmast Barefoot was first human to
perform the Lightbringer's HeroQuest.
When the storm God Orlanth killed Yelm, the Sun God, it sparked the
beginning of the great darkness. Orlanth realised the damage he had
brought to the world and formed the Lightbringers, who successfully
entered hell and found and resurrected Yelm. The Lightbringers consist
of Orlanth, the healing goddess Chalana Arroy, the trickster Eurmal,
Flesh Man, Ginna Jar the mysterious "collective spirit" of the group,
the trading God Issaries and the God of knowledge Lhankor Mhy.
By bringing Yelm to life again, Time began, and the Great Darkness and
Godtime ended.
