Scene 73: Icthya Captured!

Chased by the blood red ghosts, the Lunar soldiers took their heels
carrying the elf-maiden Icthya off with them. Racing northwards from the
howling spirits, she is handled with a surprising degree of gentleness
for one who was captured at least nominally aiding and abetting rebel
forces. Eventually the spirits give up the ghost and the remaining
Lunars made their way to an encampment, at least 5 leagues from the site
of the conflict.

The encampment consisted of several hundred soldiers; Tarshites, Lunars
and Sun Dome templars and with more arriving by the hour. Small fires,
powered by undoubtably powered by Moon Magics or by worshippers of the
Celestial Court, provided warmth among the freezing cold. With minimal
commentary, Icthya was taken to a central tent and introduced to a Lunar
general in his middle age and dark of hair, named General Tashkeveth

The General walked around the Elf in an nonchalant fashion, as if
appraising a steed. "Well, what do we have here?" he asked rhetorically,
"Some woodland creature who thinks it's better than the howling winds of
barbarism overthrow the order of civil society? Who seriously thinks
that there is any hope for those who follow a dead God? I judged the
Aldryami wiser than this; after all, many are friends with Sun
worshippers and indeed they have made most useful allies in the past".

"Explain yourself my pretty shrubbery. What on earth were you doing with
those who resist our rightful rule? And what was that ghastly magic they
used to scare off my troops?"
