Aalmon is a little more prepared and shows little surprise at the sight
of Icthya before him. He pulls forward a camp stool and sits facing the
captive elf. He looks her up and down looking for signs of any
mistreatment but seeing that she seems to have no worse than the bumps
and bruises to be expected from being captured in combat he takes a few
deep breaths of the strangely stagnant air and calms down a little.

"Have you been given food or water since you arrived?" He turns to the
Yelmalian officer "She seems to have been treated properly, is there
anything I should know of before I question her?"

Then he turns back to the captive.

"It seems you are in a bit of bother having been found in what our hosts
regard as very poor company, there are some quite wild rumours going
about the camp about where you came from and what you were up to.
Probably just the excuses of a platoon commander who needs to explain a
humiliating retreat but the general needs to be told what you are doing
so far from home in such rough company and I doubt it will go well for
you if he does not get an answer. What story should I tell him?"
