Baros took out his pipes and played out a tune into which he poured his
passion for live and love, keeping in time and tune with the more sedate
song of the Aldryami.

At last he stopped and turned to the dwarf, saying little but with a
deep almost theatrical bow "Impressive, very impressive."

He turned to Icthya and said with careful understatement "My lady, I
think you will have attracted the attention of the enemy. If you see to
rallying the elf soldiers and skirmishers you should be able to harass
Theoblanc's slow and clumsy forces and run some of them around the
forest for much of the night and maybe into the day. I cannot sense
where Aalmon is for the moment so I do not think is can do this. I will
use our fellowship guardian to let Azhur know what has happened, in case
he could not see the destroyed army floating down the river. If you
agree I will inform him that we will lead the enemy in a dance but avoid
fierce combat, so that the defence of the walls against whatever forces
that do not come after us will be for him and his men. Then if I may I
will take myself aside to try to find and aid my brother through the
bonds that tie us together."

OOC: Lev, we can pick up with Aalmon whenever you think it dramatically
appropriate.
