What feels more right for Aalmon right now would be to work whatever 
contacts he can find. If there is a Twinstars temple he could try to use 
his religious standing to get someone knowledgeable to speak with him 
but I doubt if there is anything more than a shrine here so far from 
barbarian lands. I would rather he spend the HP on contacts with the 
White Moonies and then try to gain help from them.
