Juste a question, Lev:
"on behalf of King Nauticles" Nauticles is a king?
It is a surprise or a mistake?

Objet : [HQ Ignorance] Scene 69: The Wild Temple; Eurynome's Response

OOC: Jackie is going to be offline for most of next week but has asked me
to post this.

Eurynome considers the scene before her, the teeth of the bracelet
seeming ever-sharper now that she was, perhaps, moments from
delivering the curious gift. Glancing to her companions, she murmurs
to them softly. "I'd best ... deliver the gift I've been asked to
present. And see what can be done."

She steps forward, boldly, the bracelet still encircling he wrist.

"Excuse our interruption. My companions and I have travelled far and
seek an audience with the Minaryth Purple of the Iron Ring. We've been
asked to present this to you on behalf of King Nauticles. He would
hope that you see the return of this item as his testament that we are
trustworthy and that you'll grant us hospitality and indulge us is
some discussion over current ... affairs."

Biting back a shiver, she removes the bracelet from her wrist and
presents the item with her head slightly bowed, as if to give the item
more reverance than she actually felt toward it. She felt no small
sense of relief in removing it from her person and was glad when it
was taken from her hand.

"Honoured Sage, I ..." She glanced toward her companions again, then
continued with a frown. "The capture of the Storm God has affected
many. A voice I'd like to give is the mer-folk who I've the honour to
call my friends. Although there are ... advantages to waters forever
still and glass-like, it is unnatural for the sea to remain so still."
She look to the beasts gathered now, speaking to them rather than the
Sage. "The fires here will only last so long. In a land of forever
winter, saplings will die as will newborn beasts. You'll loose your
fuel and your furs. And you'll loose your resolve, and even your
companions and the frosts and snow become too much to bear."

"Minaryth, I hear the complaints of these assembled and find it only
fair to ask - if you enlist there support against the Lunars, will you
be able to offer them what they ... believe they are being offered by
the Lunars themselves?"
