Icthya is quite relieved and smiles. For once, her smile seems genuine.

"Of course my kind have no need of a pile of rocks. I understand that
you will need an area outside the city for your tamed plants as well.
As for the kingship...Just as you must have good seed to plant a
forest, you must have good stock for a royal line. Here is what I
propose." She looks about to check that everyone is listening,
especially Anzhur.

"I propose that you do make Anzhur your king and that he cement the
necessary alliances. Meanwhile, from among those of my kind who now
live here, we must find one suitable to sing for the whole forest and
to call the deer to sacrifice." She nods at Rotterex.

"Anzhur has shown himself to be the stuff of which great lines are
born. Find him a suitable bride and give him time to ensure his seed
is sown. Then let him travel with us on our quest. It cannot but help
our mission to have a king among us. Let him appoint a Regent while we
continue our quest."
