His head spinning with big thoughts and dangerous ideas the valiant
Knight returned to find Aalmon and his half-beast brother fussing around
the fireplace like a pair of old women. Aalmon was trying to roast some
meatballs on a hotplate whilst boiling up some sort of soup or sauce in
a pan while Baros kept sneaking a taste an pulling sour faces like he
had just eaten a lime.

Aalmon turned to Azhur "Good to see you, a break from my brother's
complaining is most welcome. Sadly I was never the best cook in the
regiment, all the same I do my best" he finished with a wry smile.

>>> Then
>>> he added to Aalmon:
>>>
>>>
>>> -
>>> “I need your insights, Aalmon, because only you
>>>
>> and your weird
>>
>>> teachings can help me to understand both the
>>>
>> cryptic messages of the
>>
>>> banner and the situation where I stand
>>>
>> spiritually.”
>>
Aalmon put stopped ladling the food into a serving bowl for a moment and
gazed reflectively at the steam coiling up from the sauce for while. "I
am happy to give you what insight I have Azhur. But I really should warn
you that all your bishops would consider me the worst sort of heretic.
You do know that, don't you?"

He carried on serving the food "The other thing I should warn you about
is that I tend towards philosophical nonsense when real insight is
simple and obvious. I could tell you about how this meal is a metaphor
for what our fellowship is and how it can hold together." he stops and
looks round "But to be honest the truest insight you can gain from it is
that food tastes good, that good company makes for an enjoyable time and
that - no matter what - life is worth living."

"So lets enjoy the meal and leave serious matters for another time. Oh,
and I must ask your forgiveness on one other matter. Baros tells me the
meatballs taste like sheep droppings without nutmeg and try as I might I
could find none in the markets here."
