Along with many of the Order of the Swallow Lord
Daymere met his son, Azhur Sinnersbane, and the Battle
Seers Chapter tested the young knights knowledge of
liturgy and doctrine. But as Sinnersbane answered the
questions put to him, he emphasised the need for
purity and goodness to reach the state solace and
immortality, and he condemned the heresies, and called
the Stygian beliefs a dilution of God's will, and that
they were no better than the pagans and death at the
hands of jealous spirits awaited them.

And Lord Daymere rose to his feet, red in his face and
interrupted the test. He bellowed at his son, and
demanded that he explain what he had learned from his
experience with the Nameless Man, for rumour spake
that the apparition was an aspect of what the pagans
name Grandfather Mortal. He reminded his son that soon
he would be travelling to the Nidan Mountains, and
perhaps even beyond to Arkat's homeland of Ralios,
where the Henotheists have Power; and there it is
rumoured that Arkat has indeed returned and in many
different form.

"What say ye, good son?", Lord Daymere spake.
"Everywhere you go there seems to be new and more
evidence that the Hero Wars begin and that mighty
spirits and their followers are many. Would it not be
an irresponsible danger represent the Supreme Diety
with acknowledging these Powers?"
