You asked for Lev, but my interpretation is that Theoblanc has found
justification for this sort of action in some branch of the Church or
some interpretation of scripture (a heresy). If the problem were that
he was promoting the draining of Essence from people then he would be
a Borist, for instance, and there would be something in the Borist
Heresy which justifies it.

Hmmm...rereading that
paragraph...draining...vampires...Borists...hmmm.... :)

A timely intervention Jareena! One which I cannot see

This resolves** into a failure for Anzhur's anger and 
a failure for Jareena, but bumped to success through 
the mastery. 

I think an appropriate reaction here for Anzhur will 
be his "Melancholy" personality trait, as he realises 
that his fears are true; Theoblanc *is* responsible 
for this undead horde... and there's only one heresy 
in Malkonism in the broadest sense that could possibly 
support such an action...
