[HQ Ignorance] Scene 26: An Elder Assasin

The Aldryami Priestess looks over the copper trowel,
gifted to Icthya by a Runner from Erontree with some
awe.

"This", she remarks, "is an item of great fertility.
Any seeds planted with this trowel can spring to life
within a cycle of Yelm's rising, if the gardener
remains present and sings the Song of Life.
Extraordinary! And how many seeds to you have? A
thousand or so?! Truly the Elves of Erontree have
great hopes for you on this journey. I know that there
are a number engaging in plantings across Fronela for
the great reforestation, but this is the first I have
seen this item and seeds outside those lands".

"The King I know little of, except he is a fool and a
cruel one at that. Relations between our people have
not been good, and the reports from Kanthor's Islands
are worse. Only the Baron of Gilboch seems accepting
of our kind. It is very doubtful that he would be
travelling with his army. He will remain in the court
of Seguarne, the Walls. A terrible place. The ancient
court is three rings of great stone walls. Extremely
defensible. You need a dwarf from the Iron Mountains
to get in there!".

She laughs, a little nervously.

"As for this monstrosity you describe, we know little
of it. All the information we have received is
second-hand from the Aldryami of Kanthor's Islands. As
they are adjacent to the Castle Coast, where this
being is rumoured to continue to live, perhaps you are
best travelling there if you wish to get closer to
it."
